This summer’s production marks the first time in more than 60 years that the Broadway-grade musical series is held in a location other than the Beverly S. Sheffield Zilker Hillside Theater.
Over the last year, the team and crew at Zilker Theatre Productions have worked tirelessly to ensure another summer doesn’t pass without a Zilker Summer Musical while keeping the health and safety of the community a top priority.
In the interest of securing a smaller venue to better maintain COVID-safe protocols and to comply with the City of Austin ordinances, Zilker has partnered with Hill Country Galleria and the City of Bee Cave to bring this summer’s production to life. The show must go on, to continue bringing free theater entertainment to Austin and surrounding
communities, just like the last 62 years!
ZTP shows are always free to audiences. However, to adhere to proper social distancing guidelines, shows will require advance reservations.
