Just because cable packages are going extinct doesn’t mean the Telethon has to.
Announcing Dwayne Gretzky’s 99 Songs Telethon happening this Victoria Day Weekend. It will be broadcast live and free on internet TV starting at 4pm EST on Sunday, May 23 and going non-stop until 99 full songs are delivered to you…or until all our fingers begin to fall off.
It’s the most ambitious Dwayne show ever, and it’s gonna be a sonic journey. Expect special themed sets, special guests, live song voting presented by White Claw® Hard Seltzer, and a whole lot more.
Like his New Year’s Eve show, the event is free and/or by donation, with 50% of event proceeds going to support Community Food Centres Canada who build health, belonging and social justice in low-income communities across Canada through the power of food.
Tune in wherever you may be throughout the mega 8+ hour broadcast to catch a grab bag of the best songs ever written performed as best as we can muster. You can also expect all kinds of other Telethon-y shenanigans as perpetrated by our special guest Telethon host Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll.
Dwayne and team take health and safety very seriously. The production and broadcast will operate in accordance with Ontario’s latest COVID-19 industry rules and regulations for Film & Television industry.
