The sun is shining, flowers are blooming and it’s finally time to get outside and enjoy the weather. There’s nothing quite like summertime activities in Regina, and June is kicking it off with a bang!
Here are our top five fun things to do in Regina in June.
Dreamspeakers International Indigenous Film Festival
The Dreamspeakers Festival Society is hosting its 28th International Indigenous Film Festival. The festival celebrates works by Indigenous Peoples from around the globe. This year the festival is being hosted entirely online. For only $25 you have access to over 30 amazing films. Why not pick up a snack from one of your favourite local restaurants in Regina and support the arts from the comfort of your own home? The 8-day festival is streaming until June 7th.
Skye Café and Bistro
When the sun is shining, I can literally hear the patios calling my name! Skye Café and Bistro often calls the loudest! The proximity to Wascana Lake makes it the perfect place to enjoy a bite, a drink and then a stroll along the river. Pop in for brunch or treat yourself to a night out — you won’t regret it.

Disc golf is one of my favourite sports. It’s casual and fun and allows me ample time to wander and visit with friends. Douglas Park has a great 18-hole course with gorgeous views of Wascana Lake. Get out there before golden hour for the most instagrammable disc golf experience.
